Ziel des Seminars ist es, die Teilnehmer mit den Prinzipien der Montessori-Pädagogik bekannt zu machen. Dabei geht es neben der Person Maria Montessori um ihre theoretischen Ansätze, ihr Menschenbild und ihre methodisch-didaktische Ausrichtung.
Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt des Seminars ist die praktische Arbeit mit den Montessori-Materialien aus den Bereichen Übungen des täglichen Lebens, Sinnesmaterial, Mathematik, Sprache und kosmischer Erziehung für die Bereiche Vorschulalter und Grundschule.
