Das Kolloquium gibt in einem theoretischen Teil aktuelle Informationen zum Vorgehen bei der Planung und Durchführung der Masterarbeit und zu methodischen Fragen der statistischen Auswertungsverfahren. Es werden aktuelle Fragen der Literaturrecherche und verfügbarer Programme für die Verwaltung der verwendeten Quellen besprochen. Aspeke der Darbietung von Ergebnissen, z.B. im Rahmen eines wissenschaftlichen Vortrags oder eines Tagungsposters werden vorgestellt und anhand der Abschlussarbeiten konkretisiert.

Das Kolloquium wird einmal zur Planung der Masterthesis besucht und im letzten Mastersemester zur Vorstellung der Ergebnisse aus der Masterstudie.

Für die Verbuchung des Kolloquiums muss einmal ein Kurzvortrag zur gelanten Masterarbeit gehalten werden und einmal der Langvortrag (oder Postervorstellung) zu den Ergebnissen der Masterarbeit.
