237138 Fossilisierung und Defossilisierung im Kontext der Integrationskurse (S) (WiSe 2013/2014)

Seit Larry Selinker diesen Terminus geprägt hat, ist Fossilisierung – ein Zustand des Stillstands beim Zweitsprachenerwerb – einer der grundlegenden Begriffe in der Zweitsprachenerwerbsforschung. In nun rund 40 Jahren Forschung ist es jedoch nicht gelungen, einheitlich zu beschreiben, was unter Fossilisierung zu verstehen ist oder welche ihre zugrundeliegenden Ursachen sind.
In diesem Seminar sollen daher zunächst verschiedene theoretische Ansätze diskutiert werden; angefangen bei Selinkers Beitrag aus dem Jahre 1972 bis hin zu aktuellen Ansätzen. Anschließend wird diskutiert, wie der Umgang mit fossilisierten Lernern im DaZ-Kontext aussehen könnte bzw. sollte.
