In diesem Seminar gehen wir der Frage nach, welche Mechanismen Sprecher:innen bei der Produktion und Interpretation kreativer Wortbildungseinheiten verwenden. Nach einer einführenden Auseinandersetzung mit der Rolle von Kreativität in der Wortbildung werden wir bestehende empirische Untersuchungen kreativer Wortbildungsprozesse (wie etwa in der Komposition, der Derivation oder der Wortkreuzung) aus psycholinguistischer Sicht diskutieren. Im praktischen Teil des Seminars besteht die Möglichkeit, eigene kleine experimentelle Untersuchungen in diesem Themenbereich durchzuführen und vorzustellen.
