Mit der These der "reduzierten Selbstverständlichkeiten" wird darauf verwiesen, dass Kinder und Jugendliche über Familie und Schule kaum noch das mit "auf den Weg" bekommen, was sie für eine eigenständiges Leben in der "Wissensgesellschaft" benötigen. Im Seminar wird es darum gehen, diese These anhand ausgewählter Literatur zu überprüfen. Stellen Konzepte wie "Lebenslanges Lernen", "Lernen des Lernens" oder "Selbstbestimmtes Lernen" mögliche Steuerungsstrategien dar, um die Probleme von Heranwachsenden in einer sich stetig verändernden Gesellschaft zu beheben?
