"Schulschwänzen" ist ein Phänomen, dass aktuell unter bildungs-, sozial- und ordnungspolitischen Gesichtspunkten, aber auch im Hinblick auf das "Lebenslange Lernen", breit diskutiert wird. Synonym zum Begriff "Schulschwänzen" finden sich aber auch Begriffe wie "Schulmüde", "Schulabstinent" oder "Schulverweigerung". Im Seminar wird es, neben der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit den Begriffen und dem damit verbundenen "negativen Image", darum gehen, theoretische und empirische Texte rund um dieses Themenfeld zu bearbeiten.

Die regelmäßige Teilnahme an den ausgewiesenen Sitzungen wird als verbindlich vorausgesetzt. Die Bescheinigung einer Studienleistung/ Aktiven Teilnahme erfolgt durch die Gestaltung bzw. Bearbeitung einzelner Seminarschwerpunkte in Teams bzw. Kleingruppen mit abschließender Präsentation der Ergebnisse im Plenum. Benotete Einzelleistungen bzw. Modulprüfungen (BiWiStudierende) sind nur möglich über eine themenbezogene schriftliche (Haus-) Arbeit im Umfang von 8 - 10 Seiten p. P.
