Die pflanzliche Genexpression kann auf der Gewebe- und der Einzelzellebene mit Hilfe von biochemischen und fluoreszenzspektroskopischen Methoden visualisiert und quantifiziert werden. Im Kurs werden colorimetrische, luminometrische und fluorometrische Verfahren zur zellulären Darstellung und Quanitifizierung von Promotoraktivitäten, Transkriptspiegeln und Proteinen im Zusammenhang mit aktuellen Fragestellungen aus der molekularen und angewandten Pflanzenphysiologie vorgestellt und mit klassischen molekularbiologischen Verfahren verglichen. Zur Dokumentation werden CPU-gestützte mikroskopische Verfahren (Fluoreszenzmikroskopie und CSLM) neben Mikro- und Makrophotographie eingesetzt. Leistungskontrolle: Seminarbeiträge und Abschlussarbeit.
