Kulturelle Bildung soll „Teilhabechancen vermehren, [Menschen] sollen sich verorten, restabilisieren und sich als aktiv handelnde Individuen erleben. Wo dies erfolgt, durchschreiten Menschen »Partizipations-Portale«“ (Gieseke 2010, S. 31). Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit den „Partizipations-Portalen“, welche systematisch-rezeptiv, selbsttätig-kreativ und verstehend- kommunikativ sein können. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Bildung von Kindern und der Untersuchung von entsprechend vorhandenen Angeboten.
