Diese Veranstaltung für Studierende des MA Politische Kommunikation vermittelt Grundlagen einer soziologischen Perspektive auf Politik. Anhand klassischer Themen und Texte der politischen Soziologie werden Fragen der theoretischen Einordnung und der empirischen Analyse politischer Phänomene diskutiert. Ziel des Seminars ist es insbesondere, begriffliche Grundlagen für die weiteren Lehrveranstaltungen des Studiengangs zu erarbeiten; dazu gehört, dass die Teilnehmer/innen im Rahmen des Seminars eine individuelle Lektüreliste zur politischen Soziologie erstellen.
