Für viele ökologische und naturschutz-relevante Arbeiten ist eine gute Kenntnis der heimischen Fauna unabdingbar. Landschaftsbegutachtung und -planung, Biotopkartierung und Ausgleichsmaßnahmen sind ohne diese Kenntnis nicht durchzuführen. In diesem Praktikum werden die wichtigsten landlebenden Tiergruppen Mitteleuropas vorgestellt und deren wesentliche Merkmale erarbeitet. Der Schwerpunkt wird dabei auf der eigenständigen Determination liegen. Exkursionen und Einblicke in die Erfassungsmethodik runden den Kurs ab. Leistungskontrolle: Abschlussprüfung.
