Studierende 1-60
- Die Studierenden können Beispiele zu Geschlechterunterschieden in der normalen Funktion des angeborenen und erworbenen Immunsystems benennen.
- Die Studierenden können mögliche Ursachen für Unterschiede im Immunsystem zwischen den Geschlechtern benennen.
- Die Studierenden können Veränderungen der Immunantwort von Männern und Frauen über den Lebensverlauf beschreiben.
- Die Studierenden kennen klinische Beispiele für geschlechtsspezifische Ausprägungen der Immunantwort.
Die Veranstaltung erläutert anhand von konkreten Beispielen die Rolle des biologischen und des sozialen Geschlechts für die Immunantwort. Neben den biologischen Grundlagen auf zellulärer und humoraler Ebene wird auf die Rolle des Alters und die mögliche Rolle des Mikrobioms eingegangen. Darauf aufbauend werden klinische Unterschiede bei Autoimmunerkrankungen, Infektionserkrankungen und Impfungen erläutert. Weitere Aspekte, die unter der Perspektive der geschlechtersensiblen Medizin betrachtet werden, sind COVID-19 und Krebserkrankungen.
