In dieser Vorlesung werden die Grundlagen der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie
und Statistik behandelt. Hierunter fallen Grundbegriffe für die
mathematische Beschreibung des Zufalls (Wahrscheinlichkeitsräume,
Zufallsvariablen, Verteilungen, bedingte Wahrscheinlichkeiten und
Momente, erzeugende Funktionen), stochastische Standardmodelle, Gesetz
der grossen Zahl und zentraler Grenzwertsatz, sowie Markov-Ketten.
Darauf aufbauend werden die Grundbegriffe der Statistik entwickelt:
Eigenschaften von Schätzungen, Konstruktion von Konfidenzintervallen,
Testen von Hypothesen, Regressions- und Varianzanalyse.
