391022 Molekulare Medizin (V) (SoSe 2013)

Dieses Modul trägt der Tatsache Rechnung, dass die molekularen Biowissenschaften immer stärker die medizinische Grundlagenforschung, aber auch Diagnostik und Therapie der modernen Medizin maßgeblich beeinflussen. In dieser Lehreinheit wird erläutert, wie die molekulare Biotechnologie auf der Basis neuer Grundlagenerkenntnisse in den Lebenswissenschaften dazu beiträgt, durch technologische Innovationen Krankheitsursachen zu identifizieren, zu diagnostizieren und durch Wirkstoffforschung und -Produktion neue Arzneimittel zu entwickeln. Im Seminar werden aktuelle Entwicklungen und relevante Forschungsthemen präsentiert und diskutiert.
