Die Lehrveranstaltung ist dem Schwerpunktbereich Einwanderung und soziale Integration zugeordnet. Sie findet vom 25. bis 30. März 2007 in einer ehemaligen barocken Klostenanlage in Weingarten am Bodensee statt. Die Weingartener Woche bietet Studierenden Gelegenheit
- zu einer kompakten Einführung in Fragen der Einwanderung, des Flüchtlingsschutzes und der sozialrechtlichen Bezüge dieser Rechtsgebiete,
- zu Kontakten mit Experten und Expertinnen aus dem Bereich der Verwaltungsgerichtsbarkeit, dem Amt der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Migration, Flüchtlinge und Integration, dem Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Arbeit und dem Amt des United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Deutschland, sowie
- zum Nachweis für den Erwerb von Schlüsselqualifikationen.
