Dieses Seminar führt in einen zentralen Bereich der Grammatik des Deutschen ein: die Grammatik der Verben. Dabei werden alle relevanten Aspekte der Verbgrammatik behandelt: Prosodie, Morphologie (Flexion und Wortbildung) und Syntax. Zunächst geht es in dem Seminar darum, diesen Aspekt der deutschen Sprache kennen zu lernen und ein begriffliches Instrumentarium zu erwerben. Darüber hinaus sollen aber auch linguistische Modelle zur Verbgrammatik verarbeitet werden.

(Da in der Ausgabe von 2005 das Kapitel zur Verbgrammatik vollständig neu verfaßt wurde, sind ältere Ausgaben für die Vorbereitung des Seminars ungeeignet.)
