Der ‚Lanzelet‘ des Ulrich von Zatzikhoven zählt nicht zu den bekanntesten Artusromanen und wurde lange Zeit von der Forschung vernachlässigt. Anders als die ‚klassischen‘ Werke des Hartmann von Aue wurde dieser Roman als literarisch nicht sehr bedeutsam angesehen. Das Seminar will sich in gründlicher Lektüre der Artusepik nähern, indem es z.B. fragt, ob solche traditionellen Urteile zu revidieren sind.
Grundkenntnisse im Mittelhochdeutschen werden vorausgesetzt.
