Die Veranstaltung befasst sich mit zentralen Bereichen und Fragestellungen der schulischen und außerschulischen Literaturvermittlung. Bei der außerschulischen Vermittlung wird es um die Akteure der literarischen Kommunikation gehen, um Literatur als Ware und Formen der institutionellen Literaturvermittlung. Bei der schulischen Literaturvermittlung werden wir grundlegende Fragen der Literaturdidaktik behandeln, die vom Problem der Kanonbildung bis zu konkreten methodisch-didaktischen Verfahren in den verschiedenen Stufen des Deutschunterrichts reichen.
