Die Veranstaltungen „Omics-Methoden in der medizinischen Forschung (und die Möglichkeiten an der Universität Bielefeld)“ soll Einblick in die an der Universität Bielefeld vorhandenen Methoden in Genomics, Transkriptomics, Proteomics und Metabolomics geben. Ziel ist es etablierte Techniken und geplante Erweiterungen der Omics-Core-Facility an der Universität Bielefeld aufzuzeigen und wie diese Techniken in der medizinischen Forschung an ausgewählten Beispielen Anwendung finden.

Zur Anerkennung der 4 UE für das Promotionscurriculum Dr. med. ist eine Teilnahme an allen vier Veranstaltungen notwendig.
