Erkenntnisse aus Traumatheorie und Neurophysiologie sind auch für die pädagogische Beratungspraxis von weitreichender Bedeutung. Der pädagogische Umgang z. B. mit Mädchen und Jungen nach sexualisierten Gewalterfahrungen, Frauen bei häuslicher Gewalt oder Männern mit Kriegstraumatisierungen erfordert ein Grundwissen über die Formen und Folgen traumatischer Ereignisse, Schutz- und Risikofaktoren, des neurophysiologischen Erklärungsansatzes und eines Modells der Verarbeitung traumatischer Erfahrungen.
Neben der Vermittlung von Grundkenntnissen stehen im zweiten Teil des Seminars die Möglichkeiten der Intervention in Feldern pädagogischer Beratung im Mittelpunkt. Welche theoretischen Konzepte und Ansätze lassen sich aus der vorwiegend psychologischen / therapeutischen Literatur generieren? Welche pädagogischen Ansätze liegen vor?
