Die Allgemeine Didaktik, um die es in der Veranstaltung geht, konzentriert sich auf grundsätzliche Fragen von Vorbereitung, Planung, Organisation und Gestaltung von Lehr-Lernprozessen. In der Vorlesung geht es um die Bedeutung klassischer didaktischer Modelle und um zeitgenössische didaktische Prinzipien. In der Vorlesung wird in didaktisches Sehen und Denken eingeführt, indem Unterrichtsbeispiele sowie empirische Studien vorgestellt und kritisch analysiert werden. „Schultheorien“ befassen sich mit der Institution Schule und ihrer gesellschaftlichen Einbindung. In schultheoretisches Denken wird eingeführt, in dem am Beispiel Inklusion das Verhältnis von Schule und Gesellschaft analysiert wird
