Das Seminar bietet einen Überblick über Inhalte, Konzepte und Entwicklungen der Sonderpädagogik. Wie versteht sich die Disziplin, in welchen Verhältnis steht sie zur Allgemeinen Pädagogik, was sind ihre Aufgabenfelder, welche theoretischen Modelle liegen sonderpädagogischer Arbeit zugrunde? Dabei wird besonders der Behinderungsbegriff aus verschiedenen Theorieperspektiven reflektiert. Konzepte und Institutionen der Pädagogik bei Lernbeeinträchtigungen und bei Beeinträchtigungen der sozial-emotionalen Entwicklung werden in den Blick genommen und auf ihre Relevanz und Effektivität hin untersucht. Auf dieser Basis werden inklusive Schulentwicklungen reflektiert.

Das Seminar wird für Studierende des Ergänzungsmoduls Sonderpädagogik angeboten. Die Teilnahme an der Vorlesung "Einführung in die Sonderpädagogik und in die inklusive Pädagogik" wird vorausgesetzt.
