In diesem Kurs soll die Abfassung philosophischer Texte geübt werden. Ausgehend von kurzen Texten aus der Literatur sollten selbständige Positionen in einer verständlichen und gut begründeten Darlegung auf jeweils ungefähr drei Seiten präsentiert werden. Die begrenzte Anzahl von Teilnehmer(inne)n sowie die Besprechung der Arbeiten in einem individuellen Gespräch soll den Studierenden die Gelegenheit geben, selbst verantwortete Sachmeinungen zu philosophischen Fragen einzuüben.
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung (BA-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für drei akzeptable Essays.

Eine kleine Auswahl von Texten, die als Ausgangspunkte der selbständigen Redaktion dienen sollten, wird zu Beginn des Semesters verteilt.
