Das Seminar führt in die formale Semantik natürlicher Sprachen ein: Startend mit aussagenlogischen Bedeutungsrepräsentationen werden danach prädikatenlogische Repräsentationen und deren Erweiterungen im Zentrum stehen. Dabei geht es immer um die formale Repräsentation von Bedeutungen und deren Interpretation in Bezug auf ein Modell der Welt.

Die inhaltliche Konzeption des Kurses geht von Grundkenntnissen in Aussagen- und Prädikatenlogik aus. Diese können ggf. durch einen individuell bestimmten Arbeitsmehraufwand parallel zur Veranstaltung, aber z.B. auch durch den Vorabbesuch des Blockseminars 239604 "Logische Grundlagen der formalen Semantik" in der ersten Aprilwoche erworben werden.
