Dem Studium von Augenbewegungen wird in verschiedenen Bereichen der Kognitionspsychologie einiges Interesse entgegengebracht; beispielsweise in der Aufmerksamkeitsforschung, der Leseforschung oder der Analyse von visuellen Suchprozessen. Im Rahmen des Seminars sollen sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Aspekte Berücksichtigung finden. Zum Schluss der Veranstaltung soll daher Gelegenheit gegeben werden, erste eigene Erfahrungen mit dem an der Arbeitseinheit verfügbaren Eye-Tracker zu sammeln.
