Die Veranstaltung zielt darauf ab, in die Theorie und Praxis von Schule und Unterricht einzuführen. Wir beginnen mit biographischen Zugängen zum Themenfeld "Lehrer/in" und fragen danach, was guter Unterricht ist. Es schließt sich die Auseinandersetzung mit Grundformen professionellen Handelns von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern (unterrichten, erziehen, entwickeln und erneuern von Curricula, Schüler/-innen fördern) an. Wir werden unterschiedliche Wissensformen über Schule und Unterricht (Alltagswissen, Erfahrungswissen im Lehrerberuf, erziehungswissenschaftliches Wissen) darstellen und mit unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf Lehren und Lernen arbeiten. Diskussionen um guten Unterricht, Belastungen im Lehrerberuf, Schulkritik und Schulreform bieten einen Anlass, die Studien- und Berufswahlmotivation zu reflektieren.
