Die Vorlesung führt in den bereich Sprachkompetenz und Diversität ein. Es werden allgemeine Informationen und Theorien zu Sprachkompetenzen, deren Erwerb und mögliche Störungen behandelt, bevor dann im Abriss sämtliche Störungsbereiche der Klinischen Linguistik in jeweils einer Sitzung behandelt werden. Die Vorlesung vermittelt so einen Überblick zu den Störungsbereichen von Sprache, Sprechen, Schlucken, Stimme und Kommunikation und ihren Symptomen.
