230174 Intercultural competence in foreign language teaching, bilingual teaching (CLIL) and beyond (S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Contents, comment

The skill to interact successfully in intercultural contexts is one of the major curricular goals in secondary schools. How is this skill developed on a practical level – in foreign language classes, in bilingual classes (CLIL) and beyond the classroom? We will be examining this skill as the focal point of all other competence fields in foreign language classes and as a component of bilingual (CLIL) non-language classes. We will also be looking at measures fostering excellence in this field and their concrete results. In addition to the seminar we will be spending two days in school examining and reflecting practical work in this context.

Please note: There is a practical block at school that takes place on Thursday 08.12. and Friday 09.12., from 07:30-14:30 on both days
