230096 Einführung in eine postdigitale, kulturelle Praxis (V) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Diese Vorlesung beleuchtet die Schnittstellen von Medien und Kultur im Überblick. Grundlegende Begriffe der Medienwissenschaft wie Medien, Medienwissenschaft Medienkompetenz, Medienbildung, Digitalisierung und die Kulturen der Digitalität werden kritisch gewürdigt.
Unter anderem werden einzelne Medientheorien exemplarisch vorgestellt, der Zusammenhang zwischen medialen Revolutionen und deren gesellschaftlich-kulturelle Folgen beleuchtet, klassische Medien und deren Entwicklung in den Blick genommen und die Digitalisierung wird bis zum gegenwärtigen Zustand der Postdigitalität unter der Brille der Akteur-Netzwerk Theorie, mitsamt ihren Auswirkungen auf die Kultur der Gegenwart, betrachtet.

Keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich. Diese Vorlesung dient als Einstieg in das Medienpraxismodul. Sie findet nur im Wintersemester statt.
