In this class you will be given an overview over the descriptive areas of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics) as well as the tools and terminology used in these areas.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE WILL TAKE PLACE AS A SYNCHRONOUS LECTURE!
(in other words, this course will be a regular weekly lecture that will take place in a lecture hall. Additional materials will be offered in LernraumPlus. If you prefer an asynchronous lecture, please check the other Introduction to Linguistics I course (230044).)
