Dieses Seminar führt in die Theoriegeschichte der Soziologie sowie in einer vergleichenden und systematisierenden Weise in allgemeine Grundlagendiskussionen der soziologischen Theoriebildung ein. Das Seminar ist in drei thematische Blöcke unterteilt:
1. Grundfragen soziologischer Theoriebildung (Sozial-, gesellschafts- und wissenschaftstheoretische Problemstellung)
2. Klassische Theorieansätze: Weber, Durkheim, Simmel
3. Leitprobleme gegenwärtiger Theorieansätze

Die erste Seminarsitzung findet am 17.10.2023 statt.

Literaturempfehlungen werden in der ersten Seminarsitzung gegeben.

• Studienleistungen: Erfolgreiche Bearbeitung von Übungsaufgaben
Während des Semesters werden in den Seminarsitzungen 3 Übungsaufgaben bearbeitet (jeweils 2 Fragen, ca. 20 Minuten). Die Fragen beziehen sich auf die Seminartexte und -diskussionen. Die Studienleistung gilt als erbracht, wenn die Hälfte der zu vergebenden Punktzahl erreicht wird.

• Einzelleistung: Hausarbeit (ca. 15 Seiten; Thema nach Absprache; Abgabefrist nach Vereinbarung)
