Die "Zwischenkriegszeit" ist in vieler Hinsicht kulturell höchst ergiebig.
Gerade in dieser schwierigen und kurzen Epoche gab es viele Neuerungen und Versuhe, die eine ausführliche Betrachtung lohnend machen.
Da haben wir zum einen die DADA-Bewegung, den Surrelaismus und Futruismus,
zum anderen die Neue Sachlichkeit und das Art Deco, den New Orleans Jazz, den Charleston und den Tango. Das Kino erlebt seine erste Hochblüte, insbesondere durch die Einführung des Tonfilms.
Wir wollen anhand der exemplarischen Erabeitung einzelner Inhalte aus dieser Zeit versuchen, einen Eindruck von der kulturellen Szene der "Roaring Twenties" zu erhalten.
