Vorgestellt wird als erster Themenblock die Herausbildung die Darwinschen Evolutionstheorie und ihre frühe Entwicklung. Ein zweiter Themenblock rückt aus systematischer Perspektive die Struktur der Evolutionstheorie ins Zentrum. Dabei geht es um die Explikation von Begriffen wie "Fitness", die Rekonstruktion von Positionen wie "Adaptionismus" oder die Beschaffenheit funktionaler Erklärungen. Ein dritter Schwerpunkt wird bei der "evolutionären Erkenntnistheorie" gesetzt, und abschließend sollen soziobiologische Ansätze, insbesondere zur evolutionären Herausbildung von Kooperationsverhalten, diskutiert werden.
Hinweis für Studierende des MA HPSS:
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung kann entweder für eine Hausarbeit, ein Referat (bzw. vergleichbare Leistung) oder eine aktive Teilnahme ausgestellt werden. Die Leistungspunkte (12 LP) werden erst nach Absolvierung aller Einzelleistungen der drei Lehrveranstaltungen des Moduls vergeben.
