On 26 and 27 October 2012, the BGHS organises a Research Retreat in Vlotho, near Bielefeld, for all new BGHS members who joined BGHS in 2012. At the Research Retreat, you will have the possibility to discuss your research project with the other new BGHS members (admitted in the Summer Term 2012 as well as in the Winter Term 2012/13) with BGHS directors and professors (Thomas Welskopp, Alfons Bora, Ursula Mense-Petermann). The retreat will have workshop atmosphere where you present the current stage of your dissertation project, discuss urgent research problems and questions, and get feedback from everyone. Of course, there will be plenty of time to get to know each other.

The research retreat is open to BGHS members who joined the BGHS in 2012 (summer and winter terms). You will receive an invitation via email.
