Die Kunst der Moderne zeichnet sich selbst aus durch Orginalität, Einzigartigkeit und Innovativität. Diese Auszeichnung des Werkes verdeckt den Kontext und die Organisationen, die diese Auszeichnung herstellen und organisieren. Der Projektkurs versucht durch empirische Fallstudien von exemplarischen Organisationen deren Strategien des 'making up of art' zu rekonstruieren: Wie wird Kunst selektiert, kuratiert und gemacht und so wirkungvoll inszeniert?
