Das Internet mit seinen Kommunikations- und Informationsdiensten (E-Mail, World Wide Web, Chat usw.) ist längst integraler Bestandteil von Sprachunterricht, Sprachdidaktik, Fachkommunikation und Lehrwerkproduktion (z.B. Medienverbund Lehrwerk-Website, Zusatzmaterialien und Fachaustausch online). Die multimedialen und interaktiven Web-2.0-Anwendungen (Weblogs, Soziale Dienste usw.) haben diese mediale Dynamik im Sprachunterricht in den letzten Jahren noch einmal nachhaltig verstärkt. Web-2.0-Anwendungen bieten neue, innovative Optionen bei der Projektarbeit, ermöglichen eine virtuelle Teilhabe an der deutschen Kultur, unterstützen bei produktorientiertem, lernerzentriertem Unterricht und bei kooperativem Lernen.

Das Seminar verknüpft die Vermittlung von Medienkompetenz (Standardsoftware, Internetdienste, Web-2.0-Anwendungen) mit der theoretischen und praktischen Anwendung im Sprachunterricht. Dabei werden alle Arbeitsbereiche behandelt (Unterrichtsvorbereitung, Erstellung didaktischer Materialien, Projektarbeit, Dokumentation, Kommunikation). Beispiele guter Praxis aus dem Fachbereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache vermitteln praktische Anregungen zur Konzeption von Materialien und webbasierten Unterrichtsprojekten.

Seminarablauf: Die SeminarteilnehmerInnen sollen im Verlauf des Blockseminars auf Basis eines Weblogs und/oder Mash-ups eine eigene webbasierte Lernumgebung erstellen. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Projektarbeit werden ausgewählte Web-2.0-Dienste, nach einer technischen Einführung, auf ihre didaktisch-methodischen Vor- und Nachteile hin überprüft. Die SeminarteilnehmerInnen binden die Web-2.0-Dienste in die Lernumgebung ein und erstellen eigene Unterrichtseinheiten bzw. kleine didaktische Online-Projekte (u. a. mit Audio, Video, Fotos, Karten, Verknüpfungen zu Sozialen Diensten).

Das produkt- und praxisorientierte Blockseminar beinhaltet außerdem Einführungen zur Webrecherche nach authentischen Unterrichtsmaterialien (Fotos, Grafiken, Videos, Text), zum Urheberrecht im Unterricht sowie zur Open-Source-Bewegung und den Creative-Commons-Lizenzen.
