Das Seminar wird sich historisch und systematisch mit der deutschsprachigen Lyrik des 18. Jahrhunderts beschäftigen. Wir lernen ein Spektrum unterschiedlicher, vom Lehrgedicht über das Freundschaftsgedicht bis zum Liebesgedicht reichender Genres kennen und lesen kanonisch gewordene Werke von Brockes, Haller, Kleist, Klopstock, Goethe und anderen Lyrikern der Zeit. Flankiert wird dies durch eine Lektüre von zeitgenössischen Texten zur Poetik des Gedichts.

Grundkenntnisse der Gedichtanalyse. Bereitschaft zur Übernahme eines Referats.

Für das Seminar wird ein Reader zusammengestellt, der von den Teilnehmer*innen gegen einen geringfügigen Unkostenbeitrag erworben werden kann. Zusätzlich wird es eine Lektüreliste von Reclam-Heften geben (z.B. Albrecht von Haller, "Die Alpen und andere Gedichte" geben, die Zur Anschaffung empfohlen sind.
