Dieses Praktikum soll StudentInnen Einblick in die experimentelle Laborarbeit geben. Dazu wird aus dem Gebiet der Genomforschung eine Aufgabe gestellt, die in der vorgesehenen Zeit gelöst werden kann. Versuchsaufbau und experimentelle Vorgehen werden weitgehend selbst bestimmt. Ein zugeordneter Betreuer überwacht die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte und leistet gegebenenfalls Hilfestellung. Ziel des Praktikums ist es, die TeilnehmerInnen an eine selbstständige Forschungsarbeit heranzuführen, so wie sie bei Abschlussarbeiten zu leisten ist.
