Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit den genetischen Grundlagen des menschlichen Lebens und führt ein in die neueren molekulargenetischen, zytogenetischen und biochemischen Kenntnisse ausgerichtet auf genetisch bedingte Erkrankungen. Nach einer Einführung werden die Seminarteilnehmer über aktuelle Literatur referieren. Die hierzu ausgewählten Reviews und Forschungsarbeiten (teilweise English) führen zum einen in besonders häufige und interessante Erbkrankheiten ein und vermitteln die Problematik von DNA-Diagnostik und Gentherapie. Damit werden die Seminar-Teilnehmer in den aktuellen Stand der z. Zt. verwendeten Methoden eingeführt. Diese umfassen die verschiedensten Methoden der Biochemie, Molekularbiologie und Immunologie.

Geeignet für diese Bachelor- und Master-Studiengänge: Chemie/Biochemie, Biologie, Mol. Biotechnologie und Gesundheitswissenschaften etc.. Für Master-Biochemie-Stdudiengang als Individueller Ergänzungsbereich.
Am 11.10.2012, Do nach der Vorlesung Molekulare Humangenetik.
Einführung und weitere Terminvereinbarungen (Anwesenheitspflicht).
Detailierte Termine: Mittwochs in F2-111 ab 14 Uhr und Donnerstags in U2-200 ab 14 Uhr. Namen und Themen detailiert in STUD IP.
