In diesem Seminar werden die neuroanatomischen Grundlagen der Repräsentation von Sprache im Gehirn vorgestellt und neurokognitive Funktionszusammenhänge erklärt, um einen Einstieg in diese Thematik zu erreichen. Umfangreiche Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig. Die Neuroanatomie des Gehirns wird auf der Makro- und Mikroebene dargestellt und in funktioneller Hinsicht vor allem in Beziehung zur Sprachverarbeitung erläutert. Anhand von Übungsaufgaben werden zunächst grundlegende Aspekte der makroskopischen Gehirnanatomie erarbeitet, um einen sicheren Umgang mit anatomischen Strukturen zu erreichen. Auch die Problematik der heterogenen Nomenklatur wird erörtert. Im Anschluss werden mikroskopische Besonderheiten der Neuroanatomie vorgestellt und ihre Bedeutung für die Sprachverarbeitung anhand bisheriger Befunde diskutiert. Die Teilnahme an dieser Veranstaltung ist Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an „Funktionelle Neuroanatomie der Sprache II: Funktion und Störung“, die im Sommersemester stattfinden wird.
