Der Gemeinsame Unterricht hat die Aufgabe das dialektische Verhältnis zwischen Gemeinsamkeit und Individualität zu verknüpfen. Dazu bedarf es keiner speziellen "verbesondernden" Didaktik. Viel mehr sind mit dem gemeinsamen Unterricht spezifische Herausforderungen verbunden, die im Prinzip jeden guten Unterricht auszeichnen, der die Heterogenität der Lernenden berücksichtigt.
Um welche Herausforderungen handelt es sich dabei? Wie kann guter Unterricht aussehen? Welche Rolle habe ich als Lehrer und welche Bedeutung erhält Kooperation zwischen den verschiedenen Professionen?
Anhand diverser Beispiele aus dem gemeinsamen Unterricht an einer Gesamtschule (Sek I), werden verschiedene offene und kooperative Lernformen erarbeitet. Diese Praxisbeispiele bilden die Grundlage, um sich intensiver mit den genannten Fragestellungen auseinander zusetzen.
