Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars stehen kommunikative Gattungen als wiederkehrende und verfestigte kommunikative Vorgänge, die in bestimmten Interaktionssituationen unter spezifischen situativen, funktionalen und sozial-strukturellen Bedingungen hervorgebracht werden (vgl. Günthner/Knoblauch 1994: 696). Nach einer einführenden Behandlung zentraler theoretischer und methodischer Fragen widmen wir uns den Fallstudien aus dem Bereich der interkulturellen und der institutionellen Kommunikation und führen eigenständige Analysen authentischer Daten durch.
