Dieser Kurs startet mit einer Selbstlernphase ab 15. Juli 2013.
Es schließt sich ein Intensivblock vom 11. bis 13. Oktober 2013 an

Lernziel des Blocks:
Vorkurs Schrift - Online-Selbstlernkurs und Intensivblock - und Lektion 2-3 des Lehrwerks "Arabisch intensiv.

Ziel des Kurses ist es, die Teilnehmer/-innen mit Grundstrukturen des Arabischen vertraut zu machen und sie in die Lage zu versetzen, einige alltägliche Situationen zu bewältigen. Im Kurs werden Grammatik, Lesen, Schreiben, Hören und Verstehen geübt. Auch kulturelle und landeskundliche Themen sind Bestandteil des Unterrichts.

Teilnahmevoraussetzung für die Präsenzblockphase:
Bestandener Schrifttest.
Die Schrift wird ab Mitte Juli bis Mitte Oktober autonom mit einem Online-Programm erarbeitet. Siehe Anforderungen an die Vergabe von LP.

Zu Beginn des Präsenzblocks vor Vorlesungsstart wird überprüft, ob die Schriftzeichen bekannt sind. Der Test besteht darin, drei deutsche Wörter arabisch zu transkribieren. Ohne die Schriftkenntnisse ist eine erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Kurs nicht möglich.

Für das - anfängerhafte - Erlernen der arabischen Schrift inklusive des im Kurs vorgestellten Vokabulars, sollten 30 Stunden eingeplant werden.

Eine aktive Teilnahme am Präsenzunterricht, das eigenständige Erledigen von Aufgaben sowie die erfolgreiche Teilnahme an Zwischen- und Endtests wird zur Vergabe von LP verlangt.
