In diesem Forschungskolloquium werden theoretische und methodische Probleme laufender Arbeiten diskutiert, die direkt im Bereich Mediensoziologie angesiedelt sind oder mediensoziologische Bezüge haben. Die Veranstaltung hat Werkstattcharakter: Es werden nicht nur Arbeiten diskutiert, sondern auch anfallende Probleme im praktischen Umgang mit Materialien bearbeitet. Auf diese Weise können theoretische Grundlagen geprüft und die empirischen Gegenstandsbereiche sowie methodischen Verfahren geklärt werden.
