Das Seminar soll Sie mit grundlegenden Begriffen, Modellen und Methoden der Literaturwissenschaft vertraut machen.
Zunächst gilt es, die Frage nach dem Gegenstand unserer Wissenschaft zu klären: Was genau ist eigentlich Literatur? Nach einigen (semiotischen) Grundlagen (Was ist ein Zeichen? Wie funktioniert Kommunikation?) rücken wir vor allem die Gattungstrias in den Fokus: Lyrik, Dramatik, Epik. Am Ende werden Sie ein Begriffsinstrumentarium zur Hand haben, das Ihnen künftig für Hausarbeiten, Portfolios, Seminardiskussionen etc. nützlich sein wird.
Der Lernstoff kann unabhängig von den Präsenz-Terminen gut im Selbststudium erarbeitet werden. Im Lernraum finden Sie zahlreiche Dokumente, die Ihnen die Arbeit erleichtern sollen. Besonders nützlich dürfte die "Checklist" sein, Sie finden hier ALLE Begriffe und Modelle aufgelistet, die am Ende des Semesters Gegenstand der Klausur sein werden bzw. sein könnten. Nichstdestoweniger stehen Ihnen der Seminarleiter und die beiden Tutoren beratend zur Seite.
