This semester the subject of the course of Greek Law will be Greek Criminal Law, which is actually not very dissimilar to German Criminal Law.
We will do an overview of General Criminal Law, focusing only on the prevailing theories about each matter arising in legal theory and we will analyze the most important provisions of Special Criminal Law, such as Homicide or Theft. Furthermore, we will devote some hours in understanding the Greek Criminal Procedure System. In parallel, we will spot the differences between legal theory and practice which are plenty into Greek legal reality.
The goal is that at the end of the course the student will have acquired knowledge about the function of Greek Criminal System and will have understood the main differences between Greek and German Criminal Law.
