In diesem Seminar wird theoretisch und praktisch in das Thema Human-Robot-Interaction eingeführt, also der Entwicklung von Systemen, in denen Menschen und Roboter direkt zusammenarbeiten.
Besonderes Augenmerk liegt dabei auf einer Kombination aus Vertiefung mit Querschnitts- und Integrationsthemen. Im zweiten Teil ist insbesondere auch angestrebt, den Teilnehmern Themen in denen sie sich bisher vielleicht eher weniger auskennen, soweit nahezubringen, dass sie sie in integrierten Systemen einsetzen können.

Sinnvoll ist vorherige Teilnahme an einer der Veranstaltungen "Bildverarbeitung", "Sprachsignalverarbeitung", "Musterklassifikation" oder "Kognitive Robotik".
