Ziel der Veranstaltung ist der Erwerb von Wissen zu Lese- und Rechtschreibstörungen. Inhalte sind Definition, Klassifikation und Verlauf von Störungen im Lesen und Rechtschreiben, Modellvorstellungen, Ursachen, Diagnoseinstrumente und Interventionskonzepte, sowie der Umgang in der Schule mit Störungen im Lesen und Rechtschreiben (u.a. NRW-Erlass). Ebenso werden in dem Seminar die Vorausläuferfähigkeiten für schriftsprachliche Kompetenzen sowie die normale Entwicklung des Lesens und Schreibens erläutert.
Thematisch wird das Seminar eng an das Buch „Legasthenie – LRS“ von Klicpera et al. (2010) angelehnt sein.
