In verschiedenen Workshops werden die Teilnehmer*innen von Europa Intensiv auf das Praktikum und eine spätere berufliche Tätigkeit im internationalen Kontext vorbereitet, insbesondere durch Zusammenarbeit mit dem Career Service. Hier lernen die Studierenden auch die Erstellung des späteren Praktikumsberichts. Ferner gehörten stets zum Programm Wochenend-Workshops in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gesamteuropäischen Studienwerk e.V. in Vlotho, bei denen die Studierenden z.B. Verhandlungen mit Kandidaten für den EU-Beitritt simulierten oder verschiedene Ansätze zur Fortentwicklung der Europäischen Union diskutierten.

Die Veranstaltung steht nur den Teilnehmer*innen des Qualifikationsprogramms Europa Intensiv offen. Teilnahmevoraussetzung ist eine erfolgreiche Bewerbung für das Programm, das jährlich zum Sommersemester beginnt.
