Die Bindungstheorie ist ein wichtiges Konzept in der Entwicklungspsychologie und ihr Ziel ist es, die Auswirkungen früher Interaktionsmuster zwischen Mutter und Kind zu untersuchen.
Der Begründer der Bindungstheorie, John Bowlby, postulierte im Jahr 1944, nach einer von ihm durchgeführte Studie an 44 Jugendlichen, dass sich frühkindliche Vernachlässigung und Traumatisierung negativ auf die Entwicklung des Kindes auswirkt und abweichendes Verhalten begünstigen kann.In diesem Seminar werden wir uns zunächst mit den Grundzügen der Bindungstheorie auseinandersetzen sowie mit den unterschiedlichen Bindungstypen, hier insbesondere mit dem Muster des desorganisierten Bindungstypen, da sie eine besondere Bedeutung in der Psychopathologie haben, wie klinische Stichproben aufgrund des häufigen Vorkommens reflektieren.
