Die Umbildung unserer Gesellschaft zu einer Informations- und Wissensgesellschaft verlangt nach veränderten schulischen Lern- und Lehrprozessen.
Schule wird nicht mehr primär die Aufgabe zugeschrieben, feste Wissensbestände zu vermitteln, sondern den Lernenden Möglichkeiten der selbstständigen Aneignung von Wissen an die Hand zu geben. Der Sachunterricht bietet zur Aneignung und Verwendung von Methoden besonders günstige Bedingungen, wobei Zielsetzung der Erwerb von Methodenkompetenz ist, die der Erreichung eines Ziels dient und damit immer an bedeutsame Inhalte gebunden ist.
In dieser Veranstaltung geht es vor allem um eine Auseinanderssetzung mit diesem Thema im Zusammenhang mit den Gesellschaftswissenschaften.
